Lakers night!

Thanksgiving 2009! Delicious as always. It was a perfect day in Palm Springs that included working the bakery, volleyball, family, friends and of course, the best food on the planet.

Viva Las Vegas

For Jimmy's "golden birthday" ( he turned 26 on the 26th) we went to Las Vegas for 4 days and had a blast! We first visited Jeff Giles and has some good old BBQ pork sandwiches. :) We stayed with him the first night and then went to the New York New York Casino and stayed there the next two nights. It was very relaxing and very fun. We did a lot of walking and eating and it was great! :)

This is us before going out to eat for Jimmy's birthday dinner with Doug. Doug took us to an amazing steak house called Vic and Anthony's. It was soooo good! We want to go back already. Thanks for getting us hooked Doug! After dinner we walked around and Doug bought Jimmy some sunglasses. He is such a good brother. :) Thanks for showing us a good time Doug! :)

We saw The Lion King at the Mandalay Bay and it was an awesome show! It was almost 3 hours long and went by super fast. That just proves what a good show it is! :) The costumes were amazing and its always fun to spend the night out on the town. :) Happy Birthday Jimmy! I love you so much and thanks for being the best husband in the world. :)

Mom's Birthday

For Mom's birthday I went down that day and had lunch with her at Chipotle-one of our favorite places-and then had a little Golden Spoon. ( another favorite) :) Afterwards we all went to Matt's water polo game and then to Sarah's volleyball game. Both, might I add, won their games. :) Then we went home had dinner, and I made a cake for Mom. :) Happy Birthday Mom. We love you!

Phoenix Suns Game

Mom and Dad got tickets for everyone to go to the NBA outdoor game. The Suns played the Warriors and even though we didn't care about either team it was still fun to go with the family and enjoy the beautiful weather. Good times. Good times. :)

Jimmy got tickets to an Angels game from a friend at work. So after a long day of work we decided to put on our red and drive to Anaheim to watch the Angels win! :) We were a little tired (as you can tell from Jimmy's lazy eye and the dark circles under my eyes) but it was still fun. Goooo Angels! :)
We went to Disneyland for Wills birthday with the family. Even Jack and Melissa were there! :) I know this is from a month or so ago but I am not very good at keeping this thing updated. lol

Some summer picss

Marty trying to force down non-Aspen Mills toast. Yuck!

Cheryl was so pleased with Matt and Vanessa's showering of gifts. Matt and Will, in a scene from "Drunken Master."

Here we are, Hermosa Beach with the statue they recently built in Jimmy's honor.

This is Jimmy's eighth burger, 32 seconds before his third heart attack. Oh, Jimmy, why, oh why?

Car Accident

Car accident on Friday night, May 22. No major injuries, but a lot of aches and bruises. What happened was a drunk driver sped through a red light going about 60 mph and I slammed into him in the middle of the intersection. He cut across right in front of our car. Air bags went off, glass everywhere, but luckily we all had our seatbelts on. At the end you get to see him hauled off in handcuffs. Don't drink and drive.

Finally an Update

No you don't need to adjust your eyes... This is an updated blog from Jimmy and Ann-Marie. Who would have thought keeping this thing updated would be so hard!
We just passed our 3 month mark living in Redlands, CA. We miss the beach and the airplanes but have really enjoyed our time out here.
Jimmy is busily trying to fill beds at Grand Terrace Health Care Center, and I am busily trying to get Dad out of the bakery. Between that we have fun playing the Wii and watching Laker games (hey, we like to take it easy, ok).
