Colbie Caillat Concert

Last weekend the family went to see Colbie Caillat perform at the Fantasy Springs Casino. We had a great time and we all enjoyed the concert. Colbie did a great job. She sounds exactly the same live as she does on her CD. Before the concert we went out to eat at In-N-Out. (of course) :) It was a fun night and I think the baby liked her too. He was moving a ton during the concert! haha But I am not sure if it was her or the fact that the bass in there was super loud. If he comes out liking loud music we will now know why. :)

Its A Boy!

Above is a picture of me at 18 weeks! I didn't want to put this on but everyone keeps asking for a picture. Its kind of hard to tell in it, but I will put another pic up later that shows off my baby bump more. Unfortunately I don't really have a good one right now.

So last week we had our ultrasound to see if we were having a boy or a girl. On April 1st we went to the doctor and we were so excited to find out. Well, lets just say things didn't go according to plan. The ultrasound tech took all the measurements she needed of the baby and at the end was like do want to know what your having? Of course I was like yes yes yes! Well, the baby decided to play a little April fools joke on us and had his legs closed! He wouldn't move them at all! So after walking around and going to the bathroom the ultrasound tech said "I am sorry. Looks like we won't be able to tell today." :( We were so sad. We didn't even think that was an option! But we left the doctor appointment still not knowing what we were having. Of course everyone was calling to ask what we were having and everyone thought it was an April Fools joke when we told them it was inconclusive because the baby's legs were closed. Well a couple days later we were in Newport beach so Jimmy could surf and my sister in law told me about this place in Newport that you can go to, pay like $20 bucks and they will tell you what your having. So we could resist. We were already so anxious so we went to the place and at first the umbilical cord was in the way, but luckily after a few trips up and down the stairs the baby moved and she told us we were having a BOY! We are so excited and can't believe we are going to have a son! Jimmy really wanted a girl but he will get one eventually. :) But right now we are so excited to be having a little boy in our lives.
