US Open-Huntington Beach
As for a baby update, only 3 weeks left! We are so excited for this little guy to come into our lives. We love him to death already! He is so fun to feel moving all around. (Even though now he is more like kicking and abusing my ribs more then anything. lol) My doctor said he can now come at anytime and he will be perfectly fine. It is very good to hear that, but it also kind of makes me more anxious. Its like, ok little man I know you are healthy enough to come out of there, so just come out already! lol But anyways, life is good and we are happy! We will keep you posted on the baby updates this month! :)

Baby Dinner Party!
Vince put on a beautiful baby shower for Jimmy and my Dad. It was very hot, but also very beautiful and fun. Everyone had a great time and we are so thankful for all the love and support of our family and friends. Other then that things are going pretty well. I am 29 weeks now and getting closer and closer and bigger and bigger everyday! Jimmy set up the baby crib and now every time I walk in the room I get so excited! So fun!

Colbie Caillat Concert
Last weekend the family went to see Colbie Caillat perform at the Fantasy Springs Casino. We had a great time and we all enjoyed the concert. Colbie did a great job. She sounds exactly the same live as she does on her CD. Before the concert we went out to eat at In-N-Out. (of course) :) It was a fun night and I think the baby liked her too. He was moving a ton during the concert! haha But I am not sure if it was her or the fact that the bass in there was super loud. If he comes out liking loud music we will now know why. :)

Its A Boy!
So last week we had our ultrasound to see if we were having a boy or a girl. On April 1st we went to the doctor and we were so excited to find out. Well, lets just say things didn't go according to plan. The ultrasound tech took all the measurements she needed of the baby and at the end was like do want to know what your having? Of course I was like yes yes yes! Well, the baby decided to play a little April fools joke on us and had his legs closed! He wouldn't move them at all! So after walking around and going to the bathroom the ultrasound tech said "I am sorry. Looks like we won't be able to tell today." :( We were so sad. We didn't even think that was an option! But we left the doctor appointment still not knowing what we were having. Of course everyone was calling to ask what we were having and everyone thought it was an April Fools joke when we told them it was inconclusive because the baby's legs were closed. Well a couple days later we were in Newport beach so Jimmy could surf and my sister in law told me about this place in Newport that you can go to, pay like $20 bucks and they will tell you what your having. So we could resist. We were already so anxious so we went to the place and at first the umbilical cord was in the way, but luckily after a few trips up and down the stairs the baby moved and she told us we were having a BOY! We are so excited and can't believe we are going to have a son! Jimmy really wanted a girl but he will get one eventually. :) But right now we are so excited to be having a little boy in our lives.

Baby Time!
Well its actually happening. Our family of 2 is turning into 3. :) A few days before Christmas Jimmy and I found out we were going to be having our first baby. The picture above pretty much shows how we were feeling when we saw the pregnancy test say PREGNANT! ha ha We are both so so excited and a little nervous. But overall we can't wait to be parents. :) My due date is August 31st. So that makes me just about 17 weeks today. In 10 days we find out if we are having a girl or a boy! We are so anxious and can't wait! It is so nice to finally be out of the first trimester. I was throwing up at least once a day and nauseous 24/7. Ugh! Not fun! But I am happy to say that I am feeling a lot better these past couple weeks. A few sick days and still tiered a lot but feeling 10 times better. :) I know I am a slacker on this thing but I just had to post a little something about it. Especially since I put that baby countdown thing on here. I will post again in a couple weeks once we find out what we are having. Until then, I will be anxiously waiting. :)
